Did you know that ABYC requires that fuses require over 7 pounds of pressure to be removed from a fuse holder? This requirement is in place because as current runs through a fuse holder the fuse element creates heat. The fuse holder will warm up and the metal clips will relax. So by having a 7 pound requirement any warming will not allow the fuse to vibrate loose.
The ST Blade fuse block family is designed to this standard with proprietary fuse holder clips that are pre-heated. Kind of like a pre-shrunk cotton T shirt. This is a driving reason why the ST Blade family is one of the world's most trusted fuse blocks in the harshest environments.
