The Zeus Omega Hall Effect Sensor - Control Module A2240 is a plug-and-play accessory designed for the ARCO Marine Zeus Omega Alternator Control System. It clips seamlessly around your main battery cable to provide contactless, real-time current tracking directly at the central Zeus Omega Control Module AZCM. By measuring the magnetic field generated by flowing electricity, it delivers precise State of Charge (SOC) monitoring and system diagnostics to the ARCO smartphone app. This completely eliminates the need to install, cut, or wire a traditional, heavy electrical shunt into your battery bank.

ARCO Marine offers two distinct Hall Effect sensors for the Zeus Omega setup. They use the exact same contactless technology but serve completely different diagnostic roles based on where they plug in and what they measure:

Installation of the Zeus Omega Hall Effect Sensor — Control Module (AZHSCM) is a straightforward process because it requires no cutting, stripping, or heavy terminal modifications.1. Preparation & SafetyPower Down: Turn off the main battery switch or disconnect the negative terminals before handling your power wires.Locate the Cable: Identify the main battery bank cable that handles all the incoming and outgoing current.2. Physical PlacementOrient the Sensor: Look for the direction/orientation markings on the plastic sensor housing to align properly with the flow of current.Clip the Loop: Open the split-core sensor loop, place it cleanly over the main battery cable, and snap it securely shut.Secure the Unit: Confirm that the sensor sits flat and cannot slide down the cable or rattle against adjacent hardware.3.
