A complete, pre-terminated kit - Control Module, Alternator Drive Module, cable, fuses, and temperature sensor. Ready to install out of the box.

System Architecture & How It Works:
Instead of running a bulky 30-foot wire harness back to a central box, the Zeus Omega splits control into two distinct components:
  • The Brain (Control Module - AZCM): Mounts near the battery bank. It manages system intelligence, native Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and app integrations.
  • The Muscle (Alternator Drive Module - AZADM): Mounts directly in the engine bay at the alternator. It is epoxy-potted, IP68 waterproof, and built to withstand 100°C–105°C engine bay heat.
  • The Connection: A single, pre-terminated 5-meter data cable links the two modules, eliminating complex wire crimping.
Key Features
  • Engine Run Detection: The system automatically senses when the engine is spinning, entirely eliminating the need to wire a dedicated ignition signal.
  • Multi-Voltage Support: Natively supports 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V systems.
  • Universal Compatibility: Integrates with any externally regulated alternator (both P-type and N-type, selectable right in the app).
  • Advanced Smart Integrations: Features seamless connectivity with Victron DVCC, NMEA 2000, RV-C, CZone, and smart BMS battery systems.
  • Scalability: A single Control Module can synchronize and scale up to six alternators simultaneously (perfect for multi-engine catamarans) by adding extra Drive Modules.
  • Safety Backup: Includes an Emergency Charge Mode that safely charges the batteries even if the main Control Module fails.

Specifications

Electrical & Operational SpecsSystem Voltages Supported: 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V (fully user-customizable up to 52V via the app).Alternator Field Polarity Compatibility: Supports both P-Type (B-Circuit) and N-Type (A-Circuit) externally regulated alternators.Battery Chemistry Libraries: Pre-configured charge profiles for Lithium (LiFePO4), AGM, Gel, and Flooded Lead Acid.Engine Detection: Auto-detects engine rotation (stator RPM sensing); no ignition wire required.Scalability: 1 Control Module natively supports up to 5 or 6 Alternator Drive Modules (ADMs) for multi-engine sync

Installation Details

Step 1: Mounting the ModulesThe Control Module (AZCM): Mount this inside a dry, protected cabin area close to your house battery bank. The Alternator Drive Module (AZADM): Mount this directly inside the engine bay right next to or on the alternator. It is epoxy-potted and IP68 waterproof to handle harsh engine heat and moisture.Step 2: Alternator (Engine Bay) WiringConnect the short harness from the AZADM (Drive Module) to your alternator:Field Wire: Connects to the alternator’s external field terminal to control power generation.Stator Signal Wire: Tap into the alternator's stator/tachometer output post. This tracks engine rotation and RPM.Temperature Sensor: Secure the thermistor lug directly onto the alternator core/case to prevent overheating.Power & Ground: Connect the main positive and negative lines. (Note: If your alternator uses an isolated ground, ensure the negative goes directly to the negative post rather than the engine block).Step 3: Battery (Dry Zone) WiringConnect the AZCM (Control Module) to your battery bank:Voltage Sense Wires: Attach the positive and negative voltage sense leads directly to your battery terminals for highly accurate voltage readings.Hall Effect Shunt: Clamp the clip-on current sensor over the main battery cable. No cutting or splicing of thick battery cables is required.Power Supply: Connect the module's main power lead through an inline 5-amp fuse to a standalone battery switch or electronic power switch.Step 4: System Integration & Comm CableBridge the Modules: Run the included 5-meter pre-terminated data cable between the engine bay (AZADM) and the battery cabin (AZCM). Simply click and plug the waterproof connectors into place.Network (Optional): If connecting to a display or smart system, run an RJ45/CAN bus cable from the AZCM to your network (such as a Victron Cerbo GX or NMEA 2000 backbone). Built-in switchable termination resistors mean you do not need external plugs.Step 5: App ConfigurationDownload the ARCO Zeus App on your smartphone or tablet.Turn on your system power and connect via password-secured Bluetooth.Set your system voltage (12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V).Input your total battery bank capacity in Amp Hours (Ah).Select your battery chemistry or specific manufacturer brand from the pre-set library (e.g., LiFePO4).Select your alternator field polarity (P-type or N-type) to complete the commissioning process
