1. Mounting: Fix the MasterBus Repeater securely to a flat vertical surface using appropriate screws. Ensure the location is dry and protected (IP21 rated environment).
2. MasterBus Connection: Insert the MasterBus data cables into the available MasterBus communication ports on the device.
3. External Power Connection: If your network configuration requires data refreshing and power boosting over long cable lengths, connect an external DC power source (8–35 V DC) to the provided screw terminal block.
4. Network Termination: If the repeater resides at the physical endpoint of a network segment, insert a MasterBus terminating device (terminator) into the remaining open MasterBus port.
