The Mastervolt Digital Input lets you turn standard electrical switches into intelligent MasterBus controls. With this compact input module, a simple button press or switch can trigger actions across your entire Mastervolt power system.

The Digital Input connects up to four switches and converts each input into a MasterBus signal. These signals can be used to control lighting, inverters, chargers, generators, or any other MasterBus-connected device. It’s an easy way to add custom switching, automation, and remote control to marine, RV, or off-grid electrical systems.

Features:

  • Converts up to four switch inputs into MasterBus control signals
  • Triggers event-based commands for MasterBus devices
  • Flexible actions: On, Off, Copy, Invert, or Toggle
  • Supports up to 63 configurable events
  • Compact, DIN-rail or wall-mountable design
  • Compatible with MasterView displays and MasterAdjust software

Ideal for marine electrical systems, RV power systems, and off-grid installations, the Mastervolt Digital Input provides simple, reliable integration between physical switches and your MasterBus network.

You will need a Mastervolt display or a Mastervolt MasterBus USB Interface with MasterAdjust software to configure the Digital Input.

Requires event programming in Masteradjust.

MasterAdjust's events programming language can be a bit confusing, so here is how we like to translate:

Source: What signal from the source device will trigger the event?
Target: What device in the network do you want to be affected because of the source?
Command: What possible command in the target device do you want to affect
Copy= Execute (Do this)
Copy Invert = Do the opposite of this, if currently on this state/function

Requires Mastervolt & CZone USB Interface Programming Tool to program

Pelagic Power Tip

The Digital Input is one of the easiest ways to integrate traditional switches into a modern MasterBus system. Instead of running heavy power wiring to every switch, you can use simple low-current switches to send commands through the MasterBus network and let the system handle the actual loads.

This is especially useful for lighting circuits, pumps, or other accessories that are controlled through Mastervolt digital switching. A standard on/off or momentary switch can be wired to the Digital Input, and that signal can trigger a relay, dimmer, or any other MasterBus-controlled device. It keeps wiring cleaner, reduces voltage drop, and makes future system changes much easier.

The Digital Input is also ideal for adding extra control points around a vessel or vehicle. For example, you can install a small switch near a bunk to control cabin lights, or a switch at the transom to activate deck lighting, all without running new high-current wiring back to the distribution panel.

Another common use is integrating third-party switches or panels into a MasterBus system. If you already have existing rocker switches or push buttons, the Digital Input allows you to keep them while still gaining the benefits of MasterBus automation and monitoring.

In short, the Digital Input gives you a simple, low-cost way to expand control options, reuse existing switches, and create a cleaner, more flexible electrical system
