Mount the Sensor BaseLocate the main positive (B+) charging conductor coming off the back of your alternator. Open the split-core latch on the AZHSADM sensor housing. Position the sensor over the conductor cable and snap it firmly closed around the wire.
2. Verify Directionality, Pay attention to the current flow arrow molded into the plastic case of the sensor. Ensure the arrow points in the path of the current flow: away from the alternator and toward the battery bank. Note: If installed backwards, the reading will display as a negative value in the configuration app, which can be toggled via software settings if accessibility is tight.
3. Connect to the Drive Module (AZADM) Route the sensor's pre-terminated connection cable back to your nearby Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module (ADM). Align the locking notches on the plug, push it securely into the dedicated sensor input port on the ADM, and twist the locking collar until it clicks. Secure any loose cable slack away from moving belts or hot engine parts using heavy-duty zip ties.
4. App Verification and CommissioningPower on your vessel or vehicle's DC electronics system. Open the ZEUS powered by ARCO app on your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Navigate to the active Alternator screen to view real-time current metrics streaming over the local network bus.
