How to swap a CZone screen out:

1) find the dip switch address of your existing display, either through the configuration tool or in the screen itself
2)Power down the old screen
3) Depress the two release tabs on the top left and right outer corners of the screen by inserting a small flathead screwdriver, releasing the old display
3)Plug in all prior connections into new screen and snap in to place
4) Supply power to the screen
5) Upon start up match the dip switches to the previous screen when prompted
5) Configuration will automatically load and you are ready to use your screen

Firmware updates & favorites pages must be done with an 8-32GB, FAT32 USB drive, plugged into the USB port in the back of the unit. Give us a call to discuss.

Pelagic Power Tip

Imagine this: you hop onto your boat, hit one button, and have lights, outlets, generator, TVs, or anything you've configured to turn on, so that you can worry about loading gear and making sure your family is safe. You are ready to leave, you hit cruising mode, MFDs, nav lights, AIS, radar, or whatever you'd like to turn on or off: you are ready to go in the touch of a button. This is the dream come true with the CZone Touch Interfaces, letting CZone do the thinking, so you can enjoy your time on the boat.

A great thing about all CZone modules is that whenever software is uploaded to the network, every CZone module will hold all of the information inside it. This means that if one of your modules needs to be replaced, you should be able to match the dip switch address of your new module to the same as the old one, plug it into the system, and the other modules in the network will identify the new module and automatically program it. This makes changing a display or module easy. It can be done anywhere in the world without special software and internet.

The Touch 5 includes an RJ45 ethernet port on the back of the unit. This port can be connected to your vessel/vehicle router to transmit the screen data to an iPad to allow wireless control while onboard. This feature is free and only works when on the local hotspot.
