Installation Steps
Mount Hardware: Install your CZone modules (e.g., Contact 6 Plus and Keypads) according to their specific mounting templates.
Connect Harness: Plug the Smart Harness into the Micro-C network ports on all three modules.
Power the System: Connect the Smart Harness power lead to a fused 12V DC power source. Note that the harness acts as the network power supply.
Connect Loads: Wire your electrical loads to the Contact 6 Plus output connector (accepts 24AWG–8AWG) and tighten to 4.43 in/lbs (0.5Nm).
Configure (If Needed): Default configurations are often plug-and-play. For custom setups, use a USB drive to write configuration files directly to compatible modules like the Contact 6 Plus.
Standalone Only: Do NOT connect this harness to an existing NMEA 2000 network. It contains internal terminations that will compromise a standard backbone.
Capacity: Ensure total module current does not exceed 60A, with individual channels limited to 15A.

This harness cannot be added to an existing NMEA 2000 network. Because it contains its own internal terminators, connecting it to a standard backbone will cause network data failure.
