3 Amp inline fuse is reccomended
To use the Waterproof Keypad, you will need a Contact 6 Plus module, and NMEA connection, optionally being a Smart Harness, sold separately.
If using as a standalone switching station, a Smart Harness is recommended, but a properly terminated NMEA network will also work the same way.
If using in a fully integrated NMEA network, plugging into a properly terminated NMEA network into a Tee is recommended, but you can also use only a Smart Harness in a network without NMEA terminating resistors.
Do not use both the Smart Harness and NMEA terminating resistors in the same network.

The Masterbus and CZone USB interface, as well as the CZone configuration tool(software) is needed to update firmware and program certain functionalities.

The manual override isn’t just for compliance—pulling a fuse forces the load off, while moving it to the top notch forces it on, giving you direct control even if the system glitches. Keep a spare module onboard with matched DIP switches for instant swaps, and for critical loads like bilge pumps, wire a hidden SPST bypass switch in parallel to the CZone output—flipping it routes power directly, bypassing the module entirely in an emergency. Test it once, label it clearly, and you’ve got a foolproof backup most techs overlook.
