Ancor NMEA 2000 Through Bulkhead Adapter

Creates a connection point for either extending NMEA 2000 cable or a secure service port for computer programing.

In the NMEA 2000 network a "Male" connector is the connector with the exposed pins. The "Female" has the pin sockets. Ignore the connector itself and focus on the pins to determine gender.

Drill hole through bulkhead the width of the black barrel. Remote nut from connector, slide connector in hole, secure nut.

Do not over tighten. Recommend tightening with socket not in socket wrench but simply finger tight.

A great way to finish a CZONE project project is to add in a through bulkhead connector as a programming port. Place it somewhere comfortable where you can sit on a computer and program your system. When finished simply disconnect your cable from the port and away you go.
