Mastervolt 77031800 NMEA 2000 Interface
Mastervolt 77031800 NMEA 2000 Interface
SKU:MVT77031800
The Mastervolt NMEA 2000 interface is a powerful tool that allows Mastervolt information to be shared on the NMEA 2000 network and vice versa. There are many uses and benefits to this communication, but the most common is sharing Mastervolt monitoring information on existing NMEA 2000 MFDs.
Features:
- NMEA 2000 and Masterbus shared communication
- Ability to decide which information to give to each network
- Mastervolt events can now trigger based on NMEA 2000 information
- NMEA 2000 take Masterbus information can be displayed on NMEA 2000 screens (MFDs)
Note:
A Mastervolt & CZone USB Interface Programming Tool is required to program your NMEA 2000 interface. (Not Included)

You will need a Mastervolt & CZone USB Interface Programming Tool to program your NMEA 2000 interface, as well as the MasterAdjust software, which is free and downloadable on our website off the USB Interface tool.
Instructions to display information onto the MFDs will be dependent on your MFD, but is usually done by creating a custom display in your MFD and targeting the Mastervolt information on the NMEA 2000 network.
In depth instructions to properly set up your NMEA 2000 Interface are on the manual. The Manual provides the NMEA PGN numbers and metrics that can be shared in NMEA 2000 and is critical for setup. Feel free to call us if you have any trouble.

Pelagic Power Tip
Out of all uses for the NMEA 2000 interface, the most popular is for people upgrading to a Mastervolt MLI power system, and want to take advantage of the information that Mastervolt has, by displaying on the MFDs they already own. Information like state of charge, battery current and voltage, charger inverter and status, and power generation come right off your Mastervolt devices and into your MFDs. The information is all transferred with standard NMEA2000 PGN identities, so that they are as available as any other native information.
Another use is NMEA actuated Mastervolt events. NMEA can transfer information such as SOG, alternator RPM, wind speed, tank capacities, etc. If you have a device that you only want to use under certain speed, location, or tank capacity conditions, you can create these events easily after porting the information over with the NMEA2000 interface, in the MasterAdjust software.
Setup for this device is slow and requires the Masterbus USB Interface. A critical piece for programming is to use the manual to select the PGNs you wan to transmit and then programming based on those numbers. The manual is downloadable at the bottom of this product page plus we have key images attached to the product.
